Hi,

I've been looking for this piece of software for decades, and finally it is here!!.

Firstly, I wanted to thank you for your big effort coding it for multiple platforms.

I owned a real TJ (it died). So I just wanted to say that I think there are slight differences on how the buttons work. AFAIK, you couldn't hold down a button to lower the door *continuosly*, or setting the spear all the time the button is pressed. In fact, I find it a bit complicated and confusing because I don't exactly know when the button should be released. I think it's only a matter of timing.
When you click a button, the associated function works during a section of time and then it finishes. For instance, in the real machine, when you clicked the door button, it went down for a small period of time, and then it went up automatically even if you don't released the button. That period is exactly what we can call "game time-step". The condition for letting in, or just dropping a guy, depends on the time-step like a boolean condition.
Yes, I know I've explained it horribly since my English is not good enough.
Anyway, thank you very much for this!!.

Looks good, you'll have to tell us how much it improves the machine. It looks nice and solid now.

How did you mount the hardened linear rods? We used similar rods on our machine, and Gary took them up to his dads machine shop and drilled holes in the rods as best and straight as possible, and then we mounted them that way, but it was a pretty big hassle, wonder if you came up with a better solution...

The machine looks larger than your last one did too, is it? Do you have more cutting area now? Looks like you could cut out one of your small arcades on it now :)

Nice, we found an old metal case from the USU bid sale for our case. We also shoved the computer into it as well, so it houses that and the controller boards. We then made a little shelf on top of it out of wood to mount the power supplies to it (I'm not crazy about the placement though, I have to reach around the exposed power supplied each time to turn on the computer or to plug in my usb flash drive, kinda scary). It's probably way over due for a good vaumming and cleaning though.

Will this work with the wiimote or do I need to bust out the gamecube controller to test this out since it was gamecube code?

What are you going to port next on the wii? Did you see that guys head tracking demo that was going around youtube a while back, some pretty cool tech demos, wonder if it will ever translate into cool games...
